Once you obtain your degree, you will need to pass the skills test related to the subject you plan on teaching. You may also choose to earn additional endorsements in areas such as driver’s education. Your state may also provide an alternative path to high school certification if you hold a bachelor’s degree in a specific subject such as math or English.
