Job Description: Soliant and its affiliates are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Middle School Science Teacher for a contract position in Zion, IL. As a Science Teacher, you will have the opportunity to inspire and engage students in the exciting world of science, fostering their curiosity and passion for learning.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement engaging and interactive science lessons that align with state standards and curriculum guidelines.
• Use a variety of instructional strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
• Facilitate hands-on laboratory experiments and investigations to deepen students' understanding of scientific concepts.
• Foster a collaborative and inquiry-based learning environment where students are encouraged to ask questions, explore, and problem-solve.
• Assess student learning through a variety of formative and summative assessments and provide timely feedback.
• Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and parents/guardians to support student learning and development.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Science Education or a related field.
• Valid Illinois teaching license (Type 03 or equivalent) with a middle school science endorsement.
• Strong content knowledge in the field of science, including life science, physical science, and earth science.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to differentiate instruction and accommodate diverse learning needs.
