Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans aligned with the school curriculum and educational standards.
• Teach a range of mathematics courses, including Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, and/or Statistics, depending on the school's needs.
• Assess student learning through assignments, quizzes, tests, and projects, and provide constructive feedback to support academic growth.
• Use a variety of instructional techniques, resources, and technology to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation, collaboration, and respect.
• Monitor and track student progress, maintaining accurate records of grades, attendance, and behavior.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to support student success.
• Participate in faculty meetings, professional development opportunities, and extracurricular activities as required.
• Enforce school policies and maintain classroom discipline.
• Stay current with developments in mathematics education and incorporate innovative teaching strategies when appropriate.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Valid teaching certification or licensure for high school mathematics (state-specific requirements apply).
• Proven experience teaching mathematics at the high school level is preferred, but new graduates with strong credentials are encouraged to apply.
• Strong knowledge of high school math curriculum and standards.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with educational technology and online learning platforms is a plus.
