Position Summary
As a travel teacher in one of these core academic areas, you’ll deliver high-quality, engaging instruction aligned with Louisiana state standards. You’ll manage classroom dynamics, create inclusive lesson plans, assess student learning, and work closely with school staff and families to support academic success. Whether supporting foundational literacy or leading advanced math instruction, you will play a direct role in students’ educational journeys.
Licensure Requirements

Must hold a valid or expired state teaching license specific to the subject you are applying for (e.g., Elementary Education, Secondary Math, SPED, ESL, etc.)

Bachelor’s degree in education or related field required

Louisiana Department of Education (LDOE) will assist with certification processing once a district offer is made

Must pass background and fingerprint screening prior to start
