English Learner (EL) Specialist Teacher Needed | Glendale Heights, IL

Blazer Jobs is actively hiring a dedicated English Learner (EL) Specialist to support students in a school district located in Glendale Heights, IL.

Position Details:

• Full-time, onsite role

• School-based setting, providing instruction and support for English Learner students across classroom environments

• Responsibilities may include small-group instruction, individualized support, and collaboration with teachers to adapt curriculum for EL students

• Caseload information will be provided during the district interview

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)

• Current Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with an ESL or Bilingual Endorsement

• Must meet all Illinois state and district requirements for teaching English Learners

• Prior experience working with culturally and linguistically diverse student populations preferred

• Strong collaboration, communication, and instructional technology skills
