Equation Enthusiast Wanted – Math Teacher (Chester, PA)

We’re looking for a Math Teacher who believes every equation tells a story, every problem has a solution, and every student can find their “x” with the right guidance. If you can balance equations, inspire curiosity, and keep a classroom in perfect order, you might be the missing variable in our school’s success formula.

Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate mastery of mathematics instruction and resource materials for course(s) taught

• Create lesson plans in perfect alignment with Pennsylvania state and district standards

• Use formative assessment and differentiation to meet the needs of all learners (because not all students solve for “y” the same way)

• Maintain strong classroom and behavioral management skills that would make even the toughest word problem seem easy

• Inspire students in an urban setting to see math as more than just numbers it’s the language of the universe

Requirements:

• Must be able to complete all PA clearances

• Active Pennsylvania teaching certification required

• Bachelor’s degree (required for emergency teaching permit)

• Prior school-based experience a must

• Ability to manage both variables and humans with equal skill
