We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our team. As a Special Education Teacher, you will play a vital role in providing personalized learning experiences and support to students with diverse learning needs.
Location:Â Atlanta, GA
Hours:Â 37.5
Pay Range:Â Hourly, direct deposit paid weekly
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with special needs.
- Provide direct instruction using various teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles.
- Collaborate with parents, guardians, and fellow educators to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of student performance and behavior.
Requirements:
- Master s Degree in Education.
- Additional certificate endorsements (ESOL, Gifted In-Field, etc.).
- Strong understanding of diverse learning needs and instructional strategies.
- Previous exemplary teaching experience where student growth is documented.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with students with disabilities.
- Familiarity with assistive technologies and adaptive learning tools.
- Training or coursework in behavioral intervention techniques.
