Compensation Packages

• Local Candidates: $41–$46 per hour

• Travel Candidates: Weekly take-home $1,388–$1,613, equivalent to $46–$55 per hour. Travel packages include a lower taxable base rate supplemented by tax-free housing and meal stipends, maximizing take-home pay while providing financial stability.

Role Overview
As an ESL Teacher, you’ll empower English language learners to thrive academically and socially by developing language proficiency and cultural understanding. You’ll deliver differentiated instruction, collaborate with classroom teachers, and support students in achieving success both in and out of the classroom.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans tailored to English language learners

• Provide direct instruction in reading, writing, listening, and speaking

• Collaborate with teachers and staff to ensure students’ educational needs are met

• Monitor progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed

• Maintain compliance with district, state, and federal requirements

Qualifications (Louisiana)

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education or related field

• Valid Louisiana teaching license with ESL endorsement (or eligibility)

• Experience teaching English language learners strongly preferred

• Strong communication and cultural competency skills
