Requirements:

• Must meet all local and state requirements for Gifted Teachers in the Emporia, KS area.
• Hold appropriate licensure and certification as a Gifted Teacher.
• Demonstrated experience in teaching and supporting gifted students, with a passion for fostering their intellectual and creative growth.
• Strong understanding of differentiated instruction and strategies for meeting the diverse needs of gifted learners.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement engaging and challenging curriculum tailored to the unique needs of gifted students.
• Provide direct instruction to gifted students in various subject areas, including advanced coursework and enrichment activities.
• Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and parents to support the social, emotional, and academic development of gifted learners.
• Conduct assessments to identify gifted students and participate in the development of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) as needed.
• Stay abreast of current trends and best practices in gifted education through professional development opportunities and ongoing learning.
