About the Role:
The Bilingual General Education Teacher will play a key role in delivering high-quality instruction in both English and Spanish to support the diverse needs of students. You’ll collaborate closely with school staff, students, and families to ensure an inclusive, engaging, and effective learning environment.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with state standards in both English and Spanish.

• Differentiate instruction to meet the academic, social, and emotional needs of bilingual and English Language Learner (ELL) students.

• Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and performance.

• Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and families to support student growth and achievement.

• Foster a culturally responsive classroom environment that promotes inclusivity and respect.

• Ensure compliance with district, state, and federal regulations regarding bilingual education.

Qualifications:

• Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a Bilingual Education Endorsement required.

• Bachelor’s degree in Education (Master’s degree preferred).

• Previous teaching experience in a bilingual or dual-language setting preferred.

• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.

• Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive classroom for all learners.
