PreK Teacher (Leave Position – First Semester, Potential Full-Year Extension)
Location: Chester, PA
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday – Friday | 35–40 hours per week
Contract Dates: August 2025 – December 2025 (First Semester, 2025–2026 School Year)
Caseload: Varies based on classroom assignment

Blazer Jobs is seeking a certified PreK Teacher for a full-time, school-based leave replacement role in Chester, PA. This position is ideal for a compassionate educator dedicated to supporting the academic, social, and functional development of early learners. There is potential for this role to extend into a full school year position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct instruction and support in early childhood academic and developmental areas, tailored to individual student needs

• Collaborate with school staff to develop and implement instructional goals and methods in accordance with district and IEP requirements

• Regularly communicate with parents and team members to exchange updates and support strategies

• Conduct ongoing assessments of student progress using formal and informal tools

• Prepare for and actively participate in ARD/IEP or other relevant meetings related to student programming and services

Requirements:

• Valid Pennsylvania certification as a PreK Teacher or appropriate credential

• Experience working in school or early childhood education settings preferred

• Strong understanding of early childhood instructional strategies, classroom management, and developmental assessment techniques

• Ability to work collaboratively with staff, students, and families while maintaining accurate documentation
