Location: Chester, PA
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 37.5 hours per week
Contract Dates: August 2025 – June 2026 (2025–2026 School Year)

Blazer Jobs is seeking a certified Science Teacher for a full-time, school-based role in Chester, PA. This position is ideal for a dedicated educator passionate about inspiring curiosity and fostering student success in the sciences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct instruction in science subjects (e.g., biology, chemistry, physics, earth science) tailored to individual student needs

• Collaborate with school staff to develop and implement instructional goals and curriculum aligned with district standards and IEP requirements

• Design engaging and hands-on lessons that encourage scientific inquiry and critical thinking

• Regularly communicate with parents and team members to share progress updates and support strategies

• Conduct ongoing assessments of student achievement using formal and informal evaluation tools

• Prepare for and actively participate in IEP meetings and other relevant school-based meetings related to student programming and services

Requirements:

• Valid Pennsylvania teaching certification with a Science endorsement or appropriate credential

• Experience teaching science in a school setting preferred

• Strong knowledge of scientific concepts, lab safety procedures, and instructional technologies

• Ability to foster a supportive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment

• Strong organizational and documentation skills
