Hours: 37.5 hours/week

Hourly Rate: $40+ (based on experience)
About the Role:
We’re looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Gifted & Talented Education Teacher to join our elementary team in Los Alamos, NM. In this role, you’ll design and implement engaging instruction for gifted learners, supporting their academic growth and enrichment through differentiated, creative, and challenging curriculum.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide high-quality instruction to elementary students identified as gifted and talented.

Develop and implement lesson plans tailored to meet the needs of advanced learners.

Collaborate with classroom teachers and staff to support differentiated instruction.

Track student progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly.

Foster a supportive and inspiring classroom environment that challenges students to reach their highest potential.
Requirements:

Valid/Active NM State Licensure required.

NMPED Elementary K–8 License with Gifted Endorsement required.

Must be able to work onsite (this is an in-person position only).

Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Experience working with gifted students preferred.
