High School Biology Educator – Immediate Hire Near Trainer, PA

Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Biology Teachers for a full-time, on-site position with a public school district near the Trainer, PA area. This is an exciting opportunity for an educator who is passionate about science instruction, classroom engagement, and student achievement in an urban setting.

Position Details:

• Start Date: Immediate

• End Date: June 12, 2026

• Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Monday – Friday)

• Caseload: High School Science – Biology focus

• Openings: 1 Full-Time Position

• Location: On-Site

Key Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate mastery of Biology curriculum and instructional best practices aligned to state and district standards.

• Design and implement engaging lesson plans that promote inquiry-based learning and student participation.

• Use formative and summative assessments to track and support student growth.

• Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners.

• Maintain strong classroom and behavior management to ensure a positive learning environment.

• Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and families to support holistic student success.

• Utilize data-driven strategies to improve academic performance and foster scientific curiosity.

Requirements:

• Active Pennsylvania Teaching Certification (required)

• Bachelor’s degree required – eligible for emergency teaching permit if not certified in Biology

• Must be able to complete all PA clearances prior to start

• Prior school-based teaching experience required

• Proven strength in classroom management and working with urban student populations

• Must be comfortable with district culture and environment

• Interview: Conducted via Zoom
