We are seeking a passionate and qualified General Education Teacher to join a dynamic school team in the New Orleans, Louisiana area. This full-time, on-site position (35 hours per week) begins immediately and continues through May 22, 2026. Openings are available across K–12 grade levels. Candidates must hold an active Louisiana Department of Education (DOE) Certification—Temporary Authority to Teach (TAT) or out-of-state certifications will not be accepted.

Position Details

Role: General Education Teacher
Location: New Orleans, LA area
Schedule: Full-time | 35 hours per week
Dates: Immediate start – May 22, 2026
Grade Levels: K–12 (openings available across grade levels)
Compensation: Competitive and based on experience (W2)

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver engaging, standards-aligned instruction to students in assigned grade levels

• Create and maintain a supportive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment

• Monitor and assess student progress through formative and summative evaluations

• Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and families to promote academic achievement

• Participate in professional development, school initiatives, and team meetings

• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to district and state compliance requirements

Qualifications & Requirements

• Active Louisiana Department of Education (DOE) Certification (Required)

• TAT or out-of-state certifications not accepted

• Strong instructional, organizational, and classroom management skills

• Commitment to fostering student learning and growth across diverse populations
