Location: Chester, PA
Start Date: ASAP – June 12, 2026
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Pay Rate: $40+/hour (W-2)

We’re looking for a dedicated and engaging High School Science Teacher to join a passionate school team in Chester, PA! This is a full-time, onsite position where you’ll have the opportunity to spark curiosity and foster a love for science in your students.

What You’ll Do:

• Deliver high-quality science instruction aligned with current state and district standards
• Create engaging lesson plans that incorporate formative assessments and differentiated instruction
• Demonstrate mastery of subject matter and instructional skills
• Maintain a positive and structured classroom environment with strong behavioral management
• Collaborate with colleagues and administrators to promote academic success
• Adapt lessons to meet the needs of diverse learners

Qualifications:

• Active Pennsylvania teaching certification (required)
• Bachelor’s degree (required for emergency teaching permit)
• Prior school-based teaching experience
• Strong classroom and behavioral management skills
• Experience working in an urban school environment
• Must be able to complete all PA clearances
