Compensation

• Local hourly pay: $41 – $46/hour

• Travel assignment weekly take-home: $1,388 – $1,613, equivalent to $46 – $55/hour

Duties

• Provide English language instruction to K–12 students

• Develop and implement individualized learning plans for English learners

• Collaborate with classroom teachers to support inclusive instruction

• Monitor student progress and adjust strategies as needed

• Engage families in supporting language development at home

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in ESL, TESOL, or related field

• Valid Louisiana ESL/ELL certification (or eligibility)

• Previous ESL teaching experience strongly preferred
