Blazer Jobs is seeking a qualified and motivated General Education English Teacher for a full-time contract role with a school district in New Orleans, LA, for the 2025–2026 school year. Job Duties:

• Deliver comprehensive instruction in English Language Arts aligned with state curriculum standards

• Develop engaging lessons that build reading, writing, speaking, and critical thinking skills

• Evaluate student performance and provide timely feedback to guide progress

• Collaborate with other teachers, staff, and parents to ensure student academic growth

• Support classroom management practices that promote a focused and respectful learning environment

• Participate in IEP meetings and instructional planning as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in English, Education, or related field

• Valid Louisiana teaching license with English Language Arts certification (appropriate grade level)

• Must meet all federal and state requirements for teaching certification and licensure
