Strike the Right Chord – Full-Time Music Teacher Needed in Chester, PA

If you can keep a classroom in harmony, inspire students to find their rhythm, and turn everyday lessons into standing ovations, we want to hear from you! We’re seeking a Full-Time Music Teacher who can bring energy, structure, and creativity to an urban school setting.

Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate mastery of music education, instructional skills, and relevant resources for course(s) taught

• Create engaging lesson plans aligned with current Pennsylvania state and district standards

• Drive instruction using formative assessment and differentiation to meet diverse learning needs

• Conduct your “classroom orchestra” with strong behavioral and classroom management skills

• Inspire students to hit the right notes academically and socially

Requirements:

• Must be able to complete all required PA clearances

• Active Pennsylvania teaching certification/licensure required

• Bachelor’s degree (required for emergency teaching permit)

• Previous school-based experience

• Strong classroom and behavioral management skills

• Experience working in an urban setting preferred

• Ability to lead with both discipline and creativity think baton in one hand, lesson plan in the other
