We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our team. As a Special Education Teacher, you will play a vital role in providing personalized learning experiences and support to students with diverse learning needs.

Location: Atlanta, GA
Hours: 37.5
Pay Range: Hourly, direct deposit paid weekly

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with special needs.
  • Provide direct instruction using various teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles.
  • Collaborate with parents, guardians, and fellow educators to support student progress.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of student performance and behavior.

Requirements:

  • Master s Degree in Education.
  • Additional certificate endorsements (ESOL, Gifted In-Field, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of diverse learning needs and instructional strategies.
  • Previous exemplary teaching experience where student growth is documented.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working with students with disabilities.
  • Familiarity with assistive technologies and adaptive learning tools.
  • Training or coursework in behavioral intervention techniques.
