Teach Special Ed
Special education teachers are needed in every school in the US from the lower elementary grades to high schools. They work with students who have disabilities to help them get the education they deserve. Special ed teachers work closely with general education teachers to create IEPs for students in a special education program. They also help adapt lessons and activities for students with special needs to ensure their success.
For most states, a special education program is a requirement so they are always in need of qualified special education teachers. Schools in states from Nevada to New Jersey, Wyoming to Florida all need special education teachers to meet the needs of their student populations.

You’ll also be required to complete a teacher preparation program which is usually included in the requirements for obtaining a bachelor’s degree. In most states, you will be required to take the professional special education skills test as part of the certification process.
Let us help you find a special education teaching job. We maintain an ongoing list of all the current openings for special ed teachers across the US and can help you find a teaching position in any state.
